How to Find and Share Your PayPal Details for Receiving a Payment
1. Log In to PayPal:
o Open your web browser or the PayPal app and log in to your PayPal account using your email and password.
2. Check Your Primary Email Address:
o PayPal payments are typically sent to the email address associated with your account.
o Ensure the email you want to receive payments through is listed as your primary email.
On desktop, go to Settings (the gear icon) in the upper-right corner.
On mobile, tap the profile icon at the top, then tap Account Info.
3. Confirm or Add a New Email Address (If Needed):
o If the email address you want to use isn't your primary or isn't listed:
On desktop: Go to Settings, then click + next to Email to add a new one.
On mobile: Go to Account Info, tap Email, and add or confirm a new address.
o Be sure to confirm any new email address you add by clicking the confirmation link PayPal sends you.
4. Provide Your PayPal Email to the Business:
o Share the email address linked to your PayPal account with the business so they can send you the payment.
5. Check Your PayPal Balance:
o Once the payment is sent, you can log in to your account and check your balance in the PayPal Wallet to see if the funds have arrived.
